With its rolling hills and valleys and winding walkways it provides park visitors with a serene setting for a leisurely stroll or a place to relax on the hillside beneath the Dene Shelter.
At its northernmost boundary is theEast Green, a flat lawn with many varieties of blooming trees. At its southern border is the Dene Shelter and a large bedrock outcropping calledKids' Rock.
