Glade: E78-79
The sweeping hillside of
Cedar Hill lends its pastoral incline to many traditional Central Park activities like reading and sunbathing.
A favorite area for dog owners who meet on the far northern peak of the Hill it provides a wonderful view of the green glade below.
The Glade is a rolling valley with lush green grass. Its gentle terrain makes it the perfect place for a restful moment of reading or relaxation.
At its southern perimeter lies the gateway to this valley, the
Glade Arch. Supporting a wide roadway it originally provided carriage traffic with a conduit to Fifth Avenue.
